AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE This is the 2nd time of leaving this review due to the diabolical customer services we received, after my 1st review they contacted us promising a full refund if I remove my review- the owners had just had a massive argument and the wife answered my call just after, the husband had a few choice words about this conduct and apologised profusely. Today we received a terse e-mail claiming that we would only get half the promised refund; so not only is their idea of customer services a disgrace and shambolic they actively manipulate their reviews by promising whatever is required if a negative review is removed. I did agree to this but after removing the honest review having the company then reneging on their word it does not bode well for how the rest of this business is conducted or if the reviews are honest

Stayed here for four nights in October. room was very clean, Host were very nice and helpful, breakfast was freshly cooked each day on request. Good location close to amenities would recommend excellent.
Excellent service
The Eagles Guest House is a friendly and welcoming establishment. Well situated out of town but having good transport links makes it an ideal base for sightseeing and a quiet getaway. Our room was small but perfectly appointed and contained everything we needed. The breakfast in the characterful dining room was excellent. Recommended.
